I was born open and able to “see”. Like most born this way, I walked a path suppressing who I was and forced myself to comply with the expectations of man. While I enjoyed academia and my time pursuing mathematics, econometrics, and a Master of Science in environmental studies, my calling has been to the metaphysical, nature, and anthropology.

 

In 2018, I was fully thrust into re-embracing my gifts, and WaterBaby Tarot was born. While providing channeled messages and tarot readings through YouTube and other mediums, I was cultivating my other gifts as a ceremonialist and shamanic practitioner. Throughout the seven-year journey that transformed WaterBaby Tarot to BOMISpirit and WaterBaby to Island Turtle, I co-hosted retreats, led drum journeys, and conducted private astrology sessions and channeling sessions for clients. I grew, I evolved, and through showing up for others in my gifts, I came home to Lola Selena.

I have become the ceremonialist who experiences life as a walking ceremony. I have become the writer who speaks the truth passionately. I embrace my new chapter by sharing what I have learned in communal and private spaces with others through workshops, courses, group gatherings, and more, while using my voice to express the unspoken.

I look forward to opportunities in writing, ceremony, environmental advocacy, sustainable living, and community building.
